When Patrice Endres went missing more than a year ago, authorities in Georgia conducted a massive search, but found nothing. Chances of finding the missing woman's body were looking slim, until December 6, 2005 -- when human remains were found in Dawsonville, Ga. Police say now that they know she is dead, they can delve deeper into the clues of the original investigation.
According to authorities, buzzards flocking in the wooded area behind the church led the workers to investigate. There, they found bones that were later taken to the GBI crime lab to be identified.
After comparing the partial human remains to samples in their records, police announced the news -- Endres' was dead.
Now that the search for Endres is over, investigators are now concentrating on finding out how she died -- and police say they won't give up until they know for sure whether or not she was murdered.
