Early Saturday, August 20th, police identified the remains of missing 24-year-old LaToyia Figueroa.
She was the mother of a young girl and was five months pregnant with another child when she disappeared in July.
Police won't say how LaToyia died, but they've arrested a man and intend to charge him with her murder and the killing of her unborn child.
Prosecutors confirmed to reporters on the day of the discovery of LaToyia's remains that one of her former boyfriends was being held in the case.
They say the suspect, 25-year-old Stephen Poaches, will be charged with two counts of murder and other crimes related to LaToyia's disappearance.
Neither cops nor prosecutors revealed what led them to Poaches.
LaToyia's disappearance united her Philadelphia community.
Friends and family have covered the City of Brotherly Love with posters requesting information about her disappearance and announcing a $100,000 reward.
Their efforts netted national and even worldwide attention to their plight.
LaToyia had been missing for one month when her remains were found.
