Desperate Search Over; Searchers Find James Kim


On December 6, 2006, rescuers in a helicopter spotted what they believed to be the body of James Kim, a San Francisco man who had been missing since November 25, 2006. Searchers had been following a trail of clues left by Kim to alert rescuers to his whereabouts for days.

Kim's wife, Kati, and his two daughters were rescued on December 4, 2006. They told authorities that James had left two days prior on foot in hopes of finding help for his stranded family.
