After Five Years, Finally An Answer

More than five years after Indiana State University student Scott Javins mysteriously disappeared, the Vigo County Prosecutors office confirmed that his remains have been recovered. On Friday, October 12, 2007, several law enforcement agencies, acting on a tip, discovered a car submerged in the Wabash River.

Once the car was pulled from the river, police were able to recover a skull and mandible bone from inside the car. Dental records soon confirmed that the skull belonged to Scott Javins. Although there are not many details available at this time, the investigation into Scott's death continues.
