Over five years after Scott Javins disappeared while driving home in Terre Haute, Ind., police say they have recovered his car from the Wabash River, just a mile away from where he was last seen. Police also found a skull inside the submerged car, and they say dental records confirm the remains are his.
Once the car was pulled from the river, police were able to recover a skull and mandible bone from inside the car. Dental records soon confirmed that the skull belonged to Scott Javins. Although there are not many details available at this time, the investigation into Scott's death continues.
