Hunters in Kentucky have made a sad discovery.
Ada Wasson's car and her remains as well as the remains of her friend Mary Ellen Walters have been found.
A day trip to outlet stores took a mysterious turn for the two elderly women from Ohio on April 19, 2007. Police were determined to find the friends and find answers for their respective families.

Sad Discovery; Friends Found
Police say, two friends who set out for a shopping trip in April of 2007 may have lost their way resulting in their deaths.
The remains of Mary Ellen Walters, 68, and Ada Wasson, 80, of Lebanon, Ohio were found by a hunter in north-central Kentucky six months after they disappeared.
Foul play is not suspected.
Authorities Searched By Land And Air
Mary Ellen and Ada had been traveling in Ada's car when they disappeared.
They were on a shopping trip to either outlets in Kentucky or Ohio when they went missing.
Friends and family knew the couple liked to take scenic backroads when driving only complicating the search.
Police and volunteers scoured Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana by land and air looking for the pair but never had any sucess.
