Waldir Pedersoli police Police: Grandfather's Remains Located In Wooded Area

Dr. Waldir M. Pedersoli went missing on a busy Lanham, Md. street during rush hour on August 24, 2007. The veterinarian's remains were found just a couple of blocks from his house on October 2, 2009. "Right now it's being handled as a death investigation," said Prince George's County Detective Tom Lancaster. "They also found his medical bracelet at the scene and he has been positively identified."

Police: Grandfather's Remains Found In Wooded Area


Dr. Waldir M. Pedersoli went missing on a busy Lanham, Md. street during rush hour on August 24, 2007. Cops tell AMW that the veterinarian's remains were found just a couple of blocks from his house on October 2, 2009.

Police also say they don't believe foul play was involved.

"Right now it's being handled as a death investigation," said Prince George's County Detective Tom Lancaster. "They also found his medical bracelet at the scene and he has been positively identified."

Waldir and his wife would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 5, 2009. He leaves behind a son and a daughter.
