Police say the body of a U.S. Airlines employee has been found, and a man has been charged with her murder.

Sadly, their search has come to an end. The Richland County Sheriff's Department and the Charlotte- Mecklenburg Police Department tell AMW that Nikki's car was found around 5 p.m. on Friday, May 29, in a remote area of Fairfield County, S.C. Police say Nikki's body with ehr car.
A few hours later, Theodore Roosevelt Manning IV, 29, was arrested at his home in Richland County, SC. Police say Manning has been charged with Nikki's murder, but would not say how she died.
Police questioned Manning soon after Nikki went missing on May 6, but called him a witness at the time.
Nikki's friends and family told AMW that she had traveled to S.C. to meet up with a man she had been seeing.
Police would not elaborate on Manning's relationship with Nikki, but they have confirmed that the two were acquaintances.
Hours after Nikki went missing two men were captured on a bank's surveillance camera trying to withdraw money with her ATM card. Police have told AMW that Manning was one of them.
Police say they are not looking for anyone else connected to Nikki's murder at this time.
Nikki McPhatter was reported missing on May 6, 2009. Her sister told AMW that she spoke to her around noon that day, and made plans for her to visit that Friday.
She never showed.
Nikki was a U.S. Airlines employee for a year and half. She graduated from UNC Charlotte and later received her masters in financing.
