On the afternoon of June 7, 2010, more than 10 months after Justin's disappearance, a Bend city employee contacted police when they found a body floating in the Deschutes River below the Newport Bridge.
Items on the body led authorities to believe that they'd found Justin, but it wouldn't be until two days later when an analysis of dental records proved once and for all that it was Justin that had been discovered. An autopsy proved he'd drowned, and there were no signs of foul play leading to his tragic death.
