When news broke that two Texas teens had been murdered, and that police suspected their own father , it wasn't long before producers from America's Most Wanted were on the ground, working alongside detectives investigating the heinous crime.
Along the way, producers spoke with people who knew sisters Sarah and Amina Said better than anyone else, including their mother Patricia Said -- a woman who has done few television interviews. Though it was hard for her to speak about the crime just a week later, she made it clear that she would like to see her husband pay for the crime with which he had been charged.
Producers also met with the girls' best friend, Zohair Zaidi. Zohair spoke of the girls' hopes and dreams, and told AMW about the fear they expressed when speaking about their father, Yaser.
Also, the girls' aunt, Connie Maggio, also told AMW that for years, the girls shared a tough relationship with their father.
She said that at one point, the girls had even alleged that he molested them.
