During the early morning hours of March 3, 1989, Days Inn employee Mary Gill was robbed, raped and shot to death. Less than three hours later, Jeanne Gilbert, a worker at a different Days Inn, would suffer the same fate. Just 52 miles apart on the same highway in Indiana, two innocent women lost their lives -- but police would later learn they were not the only victims of the Interstate 65 Serial Killer.
