More than 3 hours later, Almutah Saunders finally surrendered to police.

Jada Released After Four-Hour Standoff
After a four-hour standoff, police say Almutah Saunders has finally released his 4-month-old daughter Jada and her mother Erika Turner.
Negotiations were continuing with Almutah Saunders.
Erika Turner, holding her baby, Jada Saunders, left the driver's side of the car shortly after 3 p.m., walked to one of the police cars surrounding them and got in. The police cruiser left skid marks as it backed away from the scene.
Both mother and daughter were checked by medical crews and appeared to be unharmed, according to the New Jersey State Police who is set up in a nearby command post.
